I Got Nothing…

I Got Nothing

Today’s post is boring. I have been in a pandemic funk and I am struggling to get out of it. We had a great week at the beach, had our youngest tested for Covid (NEGATIVE)!, watched the protests and then watched the rioters show up and try to destroy as much of our downtown as possible. Then yesterday there was a bomb threat at our local Walmart.

Not to mention all the politics on TV. And everyone has an opinion, thoughts, suggestions etc. on how to fix the world. Frankly, I don’t give a damn. I’m just tired of listening to everyone who thinks their answers are better than others. No one is really “listening” to what’s being said. People are just throwing out anything to be relevant. I just feel like I need to “tap” out of the conversations for awhile.

Just sitting outside drinking my coffee with cream and too much sugar, enjoying the birds and the dog running around looking for moles in the backyard is my speed as of late. Sure I have a lot to do. Things I need to catch up on etc. But I need a break. I need people to shut the hell up. I want the “Walking Dead” to start back on TV.

Everyone has their own drama and needs right now. But I need rejuvenation and motivation. I need some quiet time. I need the assholes to move on.

Anyone else feeling like this? Just had enough and want to turn off the Ferris wheel for awhile? Right now I got nothing…

  1. I’m with you, Missy. The pandemic well has run dry. We can’t drink margaritas all day. Right? I’m hardly writing these days. As soon as it’s “safe” we need to run away to the beach—Girls’ trip. 😎

  2. I do agree with you just stop this crazy merry go round and let me off for a while. I have opinions out the butt but I try and keep them to myself since I don’t want to hear theirs I figure no one wants to hear mine. lol

  3. I feel like it’s too much. I am in a migraine cycle, we live in Illinois so we are still in quarantine (but slowly opening up), so we still have to wear masks everywhere, my dad is sick and had to get a Covid test and now we wait, it’s just one thing after another. I just feel like we need a do-over of 2020. Sending you a big hug.
