Flippin’ is not the word I want to use. But my relatives read my blog and while I’m the parent of a high schooler and a college kid, I still get dirty looks from my own parents when I say the ‘F’ word. But if we are discussing the 2016 Presidential Election, we almost need to use the ‘F’ word.

I don’t give a flying duck who you are voting for. I am just addicted to reading the political banter on social media. I mean we already hear it on every TV news channel. It’s in our face 24/7 right now and the election is 1 day away. I’m at the point that I can’t even. Can’t even decide if people are serious, demented, evil or just plain bat-shit crazy.

Oh and everyone who has an opinion on social media is the only one that’s right? The other guy is wrong and an idiot for spouting their OPINION of the candidates or the issues. Snopes can’t even keep up with the fact checkers. You know it’s bad when Snopes can’t keep up.

I can tell you this, I can now spot the crazy in at least 50% of my Facebook friends. 75% of the crazy ones have serious anger issues to boot. When I read these political posts, I can actually visualize these “friends” foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog. I am seeing people “troll” others to stir up drama in the comment section of news reports online. Now I see a lot of people I know personally doing the same thing in post comments of their own friends Facebook pages! What The F? Has everyone lost their flippin minds?

I’m not saying this election has brought out the bad and crazy in people. Nope, not at all. What I am saying is we are finally seeing everyone’s true colors. And that is both scary and entertaining. I mean cocktail hour now is me pouring a drink and sitting down to read Facebook comments and being very entertained. Hours go by and the kids are like, “hey mom, are you going to make us some food”? And I’m like, “in a minute, mommy’s reading the comedy section”.

So one more day, then it’s either going to be back to normal or what we’ve been seeing lately will be our new normal. And all that time I made fun of that show “Preppers”. lol Now I’m pretty sure they had it right all along…
